4:03p - I'm blind!
There's just something about playing Tribes 2 for the last 3 hours straight that makes my eyes go all fuzzy. Its probably focusing on the same thing all that time and not looking at various depths.
Ah well. It clears up in a few minutes anyway.
Things have been kinda nice lately. Work is going really well. I've taken over a project that will probably help me out quite a bit when I finish it. Hopefully I can do that either today or early in the week.
Looks like I may also be getting myself into a consulting job with the roommates. More properly, it looks like we're gonna start up the job. We've got the business license. Now we just gotta start marketing ourselves. Time to get the cardboard signs and black markers. We'll hold out our sign to passing cars. They'll say, "Will tech for food."
With any luck, in 5 years, I'll be my own boss. Hopefully I won't need to be just another cog in the corporate machinery. I'd like that.
For those of you interested in seeing the artsy stuff I've been playing with lately, you may find some new scans here. Some of these are just old sketches I finally got around to scanning.
Mmmmm... 512Mb of DDR RAM I got yesterday is just sweeeeeeet. Right now my system is the closest to the top-o-the-line hardware that I've ever had. My computer is a tiny god.
I think I'll go play some more Tribes 2.
