11:20p - Damn.
What a fucked week this was.
All that spending I mentioned in my previous post. Well, we finished it off with my 87$ repairs to my car's crank shaft seal. That had my car at a mechanic all week. I finally got it back tonight. I'm quite thankful the lady at the mechanic stayed late and allowed me to pick up my car an hour after they closed. She rocks.
I was so happy to get my car that I splurged a little tonight.
It's kinda sad when my current definition of splurging means spending $2 at Jack-inna-Box.
I fucking hate being broke.
I especially hate being so broke that food becomes difficult to purchase in a sufficient quantity.
Payday is either going to be the 13th (next Friday) or the 15th (the following Monday). So, at best I've still got a week to stretch the $10 - $15 that I possess.
I WILL do this. I've gotten through these situations before. I'll do it again now.
Now... to pre-empt all of you generous types...
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR CHARITY.
Please don't insult me by treating me any different than you normally treat me.
If I need something, I'll ask you for it.
This is simply a chronicle of my thoughts. Good, ill, or otherwise.
So... I finished Jedi Knight 2 tonight. It was entertaining enough, I suppose. Unfortunately, like many modern games, it just doesn't have the same draw as some old-school games. I've finished the game, now I'm done with it. No desire to play it for the next six months straight. I guess that's why I'm still playing games like Jumpman, M.U.L.E., Tetris and Karate Champ after all these years.
Ah well.
At least it's cheap entertainment.
