7:40p - Fish don't fry in the kitchen; Beans don't burn on the grill...
We're mooooooooooooooving on up.
Tonight we picked up the keys to the new place. Everyone's so excited to be outta this dump, me included.
I had another conversation with the landlord slumlord today that convinces me that he's on a completely different planet than the rest of us. I've yet to have a conversation with him where he and I have been talking about the same thing.
Saturday is my birthday. Saturday is also moving day.
Come celebrate my birthday by pulling our stuff out of storage and tossing it into the new apartment. Give me the gift of helping us into a nice new home on Capitol Hill.
This time around is gonna be pretty easy. Storage and the apartment both have elevators. Storage has carts, Apartment will have hand-trucks. I expect things to go pretty quick if we can get a couple people at each end to help.
So, please let me know if you can come lend a hand.
