9:49a - Movin' North
It appears that we're moving again.
Our lease is up at the end of October, and rather than renew, we started looking for more space. In a fantastic display of synchronicity, we got the very first place we looked at. We signed the new lease last night. It's a nice little 3 bedroom house with a massive yard. It's near the intersection of Northgate and Aurora, so it'll be a distinct change of scene from Capitol Hill.
The most important part is... this time around, I'm just going to hire movers.
This past weekend, I helped my mother-in-law move (again), and after last year's escapades, I'm fucking sick of carting my crap all around the city. So, I'm gonna pay someone to do it for me.
We're trying to move in on the 13th, which leaves us two weeks or so to get all of the packing done. With the wife starting grad school yesterday, the schedule is gonna be kinda tight, but I think it's doable.
Never a dull moment, that's for sure.
