3:10p - Weekend-ish bits.
This weekend, I won two games of Elasund. I also played a game of Khronos, and then we played a game of Age of Steam using the Scandinavia map for the first time. The Scandinavia map is really poorly designed and ruined the game for most everyone.
I've been playing Hyborian of War Conan on the PS3. It's a fairly mediocre game, but if you like God of War and need something using it's game engine, it'll do in a pinch. Some of the combat maneuvers are fun, if a bit difficult to use in anything beyond the most contrived situations.
This weekend was the weekend of low-brow theater with us watching Good Luck Chuck and Mr. Woodcock.
Of the two, I liked Mr. Woodcock more. In Good Luck Chuck, Dane Cook just seemed very stifled, and the whole movie was trying to be a totally formula "romantic comedy", but totally forgot to include the latter.
However, both movies will go into the dustbin of totally mediocre and forgettable films, never to be seen again.
On the up side, my music collection has crested the 20k songs mark. Today, I've been listening to Iron Maiden's complete discography.
