10:47a - I am Jack's media addiction.
In the last week, I played through Uncharted: Drake's fortune.

Uncharted was decent. What it wowed me with in graphical beauty and excellent storytelling, it also disappointed in mediocre, derivative gameplay. The worst part of it was the obviousness of the level design. The combat arenas may as well have giant neon signs saying, "NOW ENTERING COMBAT AREA," because they're the ONLY area in the game where you'll find conveniently arrayed barriers for you to hide behind while you're reloading.

It's definitely worth playing through once to see the story and drool at the breathtaking scenery. However, there's zero replay value for anyone who isn't totally obsessed with achievements and "making of" videos.

We've also seen The Brave One, and We Own the Night.

The Brave One was quite good, if for no other reason than there are so few revenge movies with a female lead. I also really appreciate the message that women can, and should, stand up for themselves and defend themselves with lethal force when necessary.

We Own the Night was mediocre, at best. The story was really rushed, and none of the characters were fleshed out beyond their stereotypical roles. This was really a waste of the talents of all involved.
