12:30a - Fuck the companion cube.
Gamefly has delivered me The Orange Box of Happiness.
Team Fortress 2 is AWESOME, even with the PS3 controller.
I just finished Portal. FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC. Though, I have no idea what all the fanfare was about the companion cube. The turrets were SO MUCH COOLER.
I also recently finished Call of Duty 4 which was above average. I enjoyed playing something other than a WW2 FPS for a change.
In other news, I've been outsmarting myself with my l33t budgeting skills. Let's just say I just discovered the source of a wee discrepancy that's been plaguing us for the last three months. Hoo boy. It's *almost* like we were saving for a rainy day... or something. 
I've also been getting the wife into playing Oblivion. So far, it's going fairly well. I have to help out with some of the more intense combats, but most of the time I'm watching her play, which is a fun experience itself.
I'm also having a lot of fun getting into being on the Fedora Infrastructure team. I'm still a n00b and am learning my way around, but I'm already helping out on an issue or two. It's really great to be able to dive a little deeper into contributing to FOSS.
