Suck! I don't know if it'll help in the least, but I'm learning a couple of coping mechanisms for dealing with - uh, honestly, something akin to hysteria. Hold still. Close your eyes. Focus on listening. Listen to the minute. Get lost in it. Then bring your other 5 senses online and focus on those as much or as little as you want.

It helps to center me and isolate me from a catch 22.

I have no idea if it's useful for you, though.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't think this particular feeling will be abated by that method.

This is more along the lines of a sick, panicky feeling in my stomach coupled with paranoid almost-delusional thoughts and reactions toward the world.

It's a good day to hide from the world until this weirdness passes.
